Analyze and evaluate your Sugar Data

KINAMU Reporter is a flexible tool for analyzing the data in Sugar and allowing users to intuitively build queries and reports to their own specific requirements. It is built on state of the art technology and supports full charting capabilities supported by a snapshot function.

Graphically Reports

The graphical reports generated by KINAMU Reporter can be used as dashlets on the Sugar ‘Home’ screen. Data can be displayed in a simple list view, as well as a grouped list (with/without summation), as tree structure and also as a pivot grid.

Dynamic Reports

The key advantage of the KINAMU Reporter module over the standard Sugar functionality, is the ability to completely freely design reports to meet individual requirements in an open and flexible manner across the complete database.

Geographic Visualisation of reports

KINAMU supports the integration of BingMaps from Microsoft™ into the Reporter. Address data is automatically geo-coded and can be visualized with the map view.

Features and Benefits

Custom Queries - Use of Custom SQL Syntax

The key advantage of the KINAMU Reporter module over the standard Sugar functionality is the ability to design reports to meet individual requirements across all tables and fields in the database. It is up to you which data you are selecting and how many (sub) queries it will take to get the data - code directly using SQL functions. Example: We want to calculate and show percent values in rows based on total value of all rows. Therefore we need to know the total value before it is summed up by all rows which is realized by selecting the total value by a sub-query and stored within a SQL variable. This value may be use to calculate the percent values easily. @total_value := (SELECT SUM(p.amount) FROM cstm_fundraising as f INNER JOIN cstm_payment_cstm_fundraising_c pf ON f.id=pf.cstm_payment_cstm_fundraisingcstm_fundraising_ida AND pf.deleted=0 INNER JOIN cstm_payment p ON p.id=pf.cstm_payment_cstm_fundraisincstm_payment_idb AND p.deleted=0 INNER JOIN cstm_payment_contacts_c pc ON p.id=pc.cstm_payment_contactscstm_payment_idb AND pc.deleted=0 INNER JOIN contacts c ON c.id=pc.cstm_payment_contactscontacts_ida AND c.deleted=0 WHERE f.deleted = "0" AND f.id = @f_id)

Filtering Dashboards

Dynamic filter criterias may be enabled individually to be used within dashlets. Allow your users to switch the results without navigating to the modules detail view.

Using A Slave Database

Advanced reports may cause heavy load on the database. If you are running a MySQL setup with one “master” and multiple “slave” databases for performance reasons you will definitely want to run your reports against one of the slave databases.

Displaying Multiple Charts Per Report

With KINAMU Reporter you may display the results of a report in multiple graphical views on one single page. All views will be displayed when used as a dashlet or as a subpanel, too

Displaying Multiple Charts Per Report

With KINAMU Reporter you may display the results of a report in multiple graphical views on one single page. All views will be displayed when used as a dashlet or as a subpanel, too

Storing and Displaying Snapshots

The KINAMU Reporter offers the capability to take snapshots of reports automatically or manually. A snapshot is a capture of the report results at a given point in time. The basic idea behind the snapshot functionality is to allow capturing the report results at multiple points in time with the purpose to revisit the results and also to allow comparison of the results. A simple but typical example might e.g. be the capturing of pipeline data of opportunities within a company to monitor on the pipeline development over time.

Displaying Reports as Subpanels

KINAMU Reports may be included into the record view of any module, too, whereby the subpanels behave as usual: they are collapsable, dragable and store their settings when you logout. Furthermore you are able to decide if you want to show the full results of a report or if you want to filter the data accordingly to the currently viewed record.

Reporting Multiple Primary Modules

With KINAMU Reporter you may select data from more than 1 primary module! Create a single report for all activities (calls, meetings, tasks, notes, e-mails) instead of one report per activity.
